Tips
& Tricks
In addition to the fun tags that we offer, here are some other ways that
you can customize your note cards:
- Purchase some fun do-dads from the scrap booking section of your local
craft store. Embellishments are available in more styles than you can
imagine!
- Take and existing photo and upload it to an online photo center. Crop
the image in tight. Order the photo in wallet size (note: they usually
come in sets of 4!). Trim the photo to size and attach to the note card
with 2 or 3 glue dots.
- Affix small pre-made or handmade bows with a bit of glue. For larger
bows use a hole puncher and punch two holes fairly close together, then
thread the ribbon through the two holes and tie in a pretty bow in the
front of the card.
- Purchase some remnants of upholstery trim with beading or fringe and
glue to the bottom of the inside of the front of the card. Note: make
sure that the embellishment that you choose is not too large for the
finished card to fit into the envelope. Also, beware that a little extra
weight can add to your postage needed if you plan to mail the note card.
- Our Gift Tags are wonderful for any gift. To use alone, either tape
the card to a wrapped gift, or punch a single hole in one end of the
tag and tie it to the ribbon that you use to finish off your wrapping.
- Gift tags can be taped to or tied to a bottle of wine for a simple
gift - perfect when you are invited to dinner at a friend's house!
- Gift tags can also be used to identify food that you bake for friends
or family. A great option to celebrate a new birth or to help someone
who is recovering from an illness.
- Laminated gift tags are GREAT way to identify your child's diaper
bag, book bag, or overnight bag! You can even use them in lieu of a
luggage tag - just add all of your contact information on the back before
you laminate.
